Prime Sentinel combines advanced drones, thermal imaging, intelligent sensors and an onboard AI model trained on millions of pipe condition references.
The AI first identifies the pipe material — uPVC, carbon steel, stainless steel, GRP and more — then continuously inspects external integrity, comparing live visual and thermal data against a vast condition library to flag corrosion, oil seepage, abnormal temperature patterns, pressure anomalies and dimensional tolerance deviations.
Designed for the realities of live, high-risk energy environments, Prime Sentinel enables operators such as Chevron, Shell, TotalEnergies, Seplat and NNPC to move from reactive live-line maintenance to AI-driven autonomous infrastructure intelligence. Internal in-pipe inspection capability is currently under active R&D at the Prime Group UK lab, developed alongside global software and drone OEM partners.
Chevron is the anchor end client for Prime Sentinel, with first right of refusal on production-grade deployment across its Nigerian onshore and offshore pipeline assets.
