Platform A

Autonomous drone inspection.

Overground and elevated pipelines crossing long distances of open terrain, inspected continuously, autonomously, and without crew exposure. Optical, thermal and ultrasonic sensors detect leaks, corrosion and thermal anomalies in real time.

01Stage 01 · Overground corridor

Autonomous drone patrols long-distance pipeline corridors.

A Prime Sentinel inspection drone flies pre-programmed routes along surface and elevated oil & gas pipelines, covering tens of kilometres per sortie across remote terrain, swamp, and right-of-way without dispatching a ground crew.

02Stage 02 · Multi-sensor payload

Optical, thermal and ultrasonic sensors capture pipe condition live.

Each drone carries a synchronised sensor stack, high-resolution optical, FLIR thermal, and ultrasonic stand-off probes, capturing weld, coating, and surface condition data at survey speed against the pipe material profile.

03Stage 03 · Real-time anomaly detection

Thermal hotspots, leaks and corrosion are flagged on the spot.

Live sensor feeds are compared at the edge against a reference library of millions of pipe conditions. Leaks, oil seepage, corrosion patches, pressure anomalies and dimensional deviations are scored and flagged immediately, no shutdown required.

Platform B

Magnetic crawler NDT, live on FPSO decks.

Where drones cannot reach, inside a producing FPSO's process deck, the Sentinel crawler delivers the same NDT scope an offshore team would run. Wall thickness, corrosion mapping, weld integrity. Measured in place, on live pipework.

04Stage 04 · Offshore, deepwater FPSO

Onboard a live, deepwater FPSO.

A typical turret-moored FPSO runs 250 to 330 metres long and processes crude continuously offshore. Drones cover the topsides; the confined process deck is closed to them. The Sentinel crawler takes over there.

05Stage 05 · Confined-space crawler

Magnetic crawler navigates dense process pipework on the live deck.

The crawler clamps directly to ferrous pipework, vertical, horizontal, overhead, and traverses around flanges, valves and supports inside tight module spaces. It works alongside production, with no hot-work permit and no rope-access spread.

06Stage 06 · UT / PAUT in place

Wall thickness, corrosion mapping and weld integrity, measured in situ.

Onboard UT thickness gauges, phased-array probes and HD optical capture wall loss, internal corrosion, pitting, weld defects and coating condition. Same NDT scope an offshore team would run, delivered remotely, logged into the integrity dashboard.
