Why ground-mount

Engineered scale, from captive plants to IPPs.

When the roof isn't enough

When industrial energy demand outgrows the available roof, or when the customer wants a captive plant co-located with substation and BESS infrastructure, ground-mount is the right architecture. It enables larger arrays, optimal tilt and orientation, and a maintenance regime that doesn't depend on rooftop access.

Our ground-mount projects span captive industrial plants for agro-processors and manufacturers, off-grid microgrids for mining and remote communities, and IPP-scale solar farms structured for DFI and commercial financing.

Bankable engineering

Every ground-mount project we deliver is engineered to bankable standards: independent yield assessment, structural and geotechnical design, lightning and earthing studies, grid connection design, SCADA architecture, and an O&M plan written for the actual operator, not a generic template.

Integrated with storage and the grid

Ground-mount solar reaches its full economic potential when integrated with battery energy storage and a thoughtful grid relationship. Our plants are designed from day one with BESS readiness, peak-shaving control logic, and substation works that allow phased expansion as load grows.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

A ground-mount solar system is a PV array installed on a structural racking system at ground level rather than on a rooftop. It allows for larger system sizes, optimal tilt and orientation, easier maintenance access, and integration with battery storage and substation infrastructure for industrial or microgrid applications.
